Today (April 17), the sixth plenary (enlarged) meeting of the 7th Committee of the Communist Youth League of Jiading District was held to learn and convey the spirit of the Plenary Session of the District Committee and the Plenary Session of the Youth League Municipal Committee, review and summarize the work of the Jiading Communist Youth League in 2023, and study and deploy the tasks of the Youth League in 2024. Zhou Wenjie, deputy secretary of the district party committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
Zhou Wenjie pointed out that the past year was the first year of the full implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and the Jiading Communist Youth League closely focused on the overall situation of regional development, conscientiously performed its duties and responsibilities, deepened the reform and tackled the key problems, and united and led the Youth League organizations at all levels, all League cadres and the majority of League members and young people in the region to continue to promote new progress in various tasks.
This year is a crucial year for achieving the goals and tasks of the 14th Five-Year Plan, and it is also a year to commemorate the 105th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement. Zhou Wenjie demanded that the Jiading Communist Youth League organization should look at the general trend and understand the overall situation, firmly grasp the main theme of "political construction", fully understand the complexity and arduousness of the political guidance work, transform the educational achievements of League members and young people, and give full play to the characteristics of the Communist Youth League in practice and education. It is necessary to take practical measures and seek practical results, firmly grasp the main responsibilities and main business of the "service center", broaden their horizons, and lead the vast number of league members and young people to achieve meritorious contributions based on major strategies; focus on the present, serve the vast number of league members and young people to achieve growth and success in regional development; focus on people's livelihood, and encourage the majority of league members and young people to take responsibility in key projects. We must dare to take responsibility and act, strive to become the main protagonist of "living up to the times", and adhere to the tradition of "learning first", the style of "four grassroots units" and the tone of "comprehensive strictness".
Zhou Wenjie stressed: "One point of deployment, nine points of implementation", and doing a good job in this year's work of the Communist Youth League is a heavy responsibility and an arduous task. Youth League organizations at all levels, all League cadres and the vast number of League members and young people in the whole region should take this meeting as a new starting point, take a step forward, make a leap forward, and make new and greater youthful contributions to the construction of Jiading as a modern and new-type city.
According to the deployment, this year, the Jiading Communist Youth League will thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and continue to deepen the ideological and political guidance of young people. Focusing on the central work of the whole region, a series of activities were carried out around the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the first youth commando in the mainland, the 30th anniversary of the launch of the Youth Civilization and the work of youth post experts, and mobilized and led the majority of League members and young people to stand up and take responsibility in the practice of Chinese-style modernization in Jiading, such as carrying out the special action of "Ying Xiaoqing" to serve the first-class business environment, and implementing the volunteer service project of "100 regiments entering 100 homes (villages)". Solidly promote the construction of youth development-oriented urban areas, consolidate and expand the youth mass base of the party's governance, such as organizing a series of activities of the Jiading Youth "Together Family" plan, running a summer (cold) nursery class for primary school students, and carrying out the work of chasing light huts - micro-renovation of the living rooms of minors in difficulty, so as to effectively solve the urgent needs of young people. Consolidate and deepen the achievements of the reform of the Communist Youth League, and glow with the vitality of the new era while continuously strengthening its own construction.
The meeting also listened to the work report of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Seventh Jiading District Committee of the Communist Youth League, adopted the "Sixth Plenary Session of the Seventh Jiading District Committee of the Communist Youth League on the Confirmation of the Resignation and Replacement of Members of the Seventh Jiading District Committee of the Communist Youth League," and commended 18 typical grassroots League organizations in Jiading.
