In order to implement the relevant provisions of laws and regulations such as the Law on the Protection of Minors, the Law on the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency, and the Regulations of Guangdong Province on the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency, and in response to the call of the Provincial Youth League Committee to organize and carry out the "Say 'No' to Harm - 12355 Special Action on Bullying Prevention", to truly safeguard the lawful rights and interests of young people, combined with further strengthening the rule of law education, self-protection education, and safety education for young people, to continuously enhance young people's awareness of learning, abiding by and using the law, and guiding young people to refuse to be bullies.
On April 15, in conjunction with the 9th "415" National Security Education Day, the Guangzhou Nansha District Committee of the Communist Youth League jointly carried out the theme activity of "Protecting Youth and Rejecting Bullying" through the Nansha Youth Zone Project and Nansha Qilin Primary School affiliated to Guangdong Second Normal University, with a total of more than 350 teachers and students participating.
At the event site, the social worker of the Nansha District Youth Zone Project introduced the service content, venue and opening hours of the Nansha Youth Zone and 12355 Youth Comprehensive Service Platform, the theme, purpose and process of this activity to all teachers and students, so that the teachers and students had an overall understanding of the Nansha District Youth Zone Project services. Through PPT explanations, prize quizzes, sharing and interaction, etc., focusing on what is campus bullying, the harm of campus bullying and how to prevent campus bullying, etc., guide students to correctly identify bullying behaviors, improve self-protection awareness and safety prevention ability, enhance students' awareness of consciously abiding by laws and regulations and using the law to protect their legitimate rights and interests, consciously oppose all kinds of bullying behaviors, and bravely say "no" to bullying behaviors.
At the same time, the activity also clarified some of the students' vague cognition of the manifestations of campus bullying, and the social worker simulated and reproduced the situation through some common examples, so that the students could correctly distinguish the difference between campus bullying and ordinary playful behavior, and the students easily mastered the methods of dealing with campus bullying in a pleasant classroom atmosphere.
The event was warmly welcomed by teachers and students, and was highly recognized by the school, and the students had a deeper understanding of bullying in school. Many students said that the prevention of school bullying needs to start from daily behavior, start from me, self-restraint of their words and deeds, and enhance the moral awareness of "don't take evil as a small thing, don't take good as a small thing".
In the future, the Guangzhou Nansha District Committee of the Communist Youth League will continue to play the propaganda role of the Nansha District 12355 Youth Comprehensive Service Center, deepen the awareness of mental health and rights protection into the growth of young people, strengthen the popularization and publicity of key laws and regulations, continue to carry out youth self-protection education, and do a solid job in protecting the rights and interests of young people.
