Located at the southern end of Rongshui County, Chengnan Community of Rongshui Miao Autonomous County is a flood disaster prone point and the forefront of flood control work. In order to further do a good job in flood prevention, rescue and disaster relief, the Chengnan community moved when it heard the "flood", and organized the leaders of the Chengnan Flood Control and Rescue Division, the heads and members of each block to hold the 2024 flood prevention and preparedness work deployment meeting to further deploy flood prevention and preparedness, emergency management and other work.
The meeting made a detailed decomposition and arrangement of flood prevention and preparedness work, and demanded that the changes in rain, water and flood conditions should be paid close attention to with a sense of responsibility of "always rest assured", so as to achieve early detection, early reporting, and early disposal. The responsible persons of the first and third southern districts should be fully familiar with the situation of flood prevention preparations in their sub-districts, go deep into the front line during the flood season, take command from the front, earnestly perform their duties in flood prevention and rescue work, and intensify propaganda in areas where the elderly and widows are living and in special need of help, such as schools and so on, so as to improve the people's ability to prevent and reduce disasters.
After the meeting, the head of the Chengnan Flood Control and Rescue Division, the heads of each block and the members came to the South 1st District and the South 3rd District to check the lowest water point on the spot and learn more about the implementation of flood prevention and preparedness.
In the next step, Rongshui Town will continue to strictly implement the work of flood prevention and preparedness, and the responsible persons of the five flood prevention and rescue sub-districts in the south of the city, the north of the city, the east of the city, the Luojiu reservoir area, and the suburbs of the city will adhere to the people-centered, perform their duties, take their own responsibilities, and take responsibility, thoroughly and meticulously explore and eliminate all kinds of potential safety hazards, so as to ensure the safety of people's lives and property and the overall stability of society.
