The drainage pipe is the underground "artery" of the city, if the drainage system is not smooth, it will not only cause sewage backfilling, but also seriously affect the drainage efficiency of the flood season, and affect the life of urban residents and the normal operation of the whole city. In order to ensure the smooth drainage during the flood season, the Le'an County Urban Management Bureau actively organized and carried out special dredging and dredging actions for the pre-flood rainwater pipe network in the urban area, unblocking the "underground bloodline" in the urban area, improving the flood prevention and drainage capacity, and ensuring the safety of citizens.
In order to do a good job in the dredging and dredging work, the municipal staff adopted the method of road by road and section by section, and carried out a comprehensive investigation and cleaning of the rain and sewage pipes, rainwater grates, inspection wells and drainage ditches in the jurisdiction, and cleaned up the blocked debris in the pipeline in time to ensure that the pipeline was unimpeded. Since the start of the dredging operation in early April, the bureau has completed the dredging and dredging of more than 10 main and secondary roads, cleaned and inspected more than 50 manholes, cleaned up 13 blocked pipelines and waterlogged areas, and replaced more than 30 damaged manhole covers and rainwater grates.
According to the person in charge of the municipal management unit of the bureau, "every year before the flood season, the municipal drainage pipes must be cleaned once to make full preparations for flood control and drainage during the flood season. At the same time, timely maintenance is carried out on faults such as uneven road surfaces, loose pavement floor tiles, damaged manhole covers of rain and sewage wells, and street lights turned off, so as to make urban management work meticulous and practical, eliminate potential safety hazards, and make the urban environment more livable.
