With its unique resource endowment, before the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, Chongli has built 7 large-scale ski resorts, becoming the largest ski gathering area in mainland China, with a total length of more than 160 kilometers of ski trails of all levels.
Xue Ruyi Ski Resort is located in Zhangjiakou Chongli Olympic Park, close to the National Ski Jumping Center "Xue Ruyi", the iconic venue of the Beijing Winter Olympics, the National Biathlon Center and the National Cross-Country Skiing Center. The total area of the planned ski slopes is 140 hectares, the total length of the ski slopes is 31,827 meters, 32 alpine ski trails are set up, and 5 high-speed lifts are set up, including 3 box lifts, 2 chairlifts, and some lifts can directly enter the second floor of the ski hall.
Zhang Litao, general manager of Zhangjiakou Xingyuan Sports Cultural Tourism Operation and Management Co., Ltd., introduced that the ratio of beginner, middle, high and "black road" ski slopes in the ski resort is 3:4:2:1, mainly in the middle and intermediate road types, with an average width of 40 meters and a moderate slope, which is an ideal ski resort for beginners and advanced skiers, and multi-level ski slopes can meet different ski needs.
"We will build an ice and snow resort complex integrating skiing, leisure, culture and entertainment, explore more possibilities for ski vacation next to the Winter Olympic venues, and create a ski resort landmark through different formats such as skiing, snow entertainment and festival activities. Zhang Litao said.
According to reports, Xue Ruyi Ski Resort will set up a 3,000-square-meter exclusive rest area for teenagers, covering a buffet area, a café, a multi-functional classroom, a lunch care area, a simulation room, a recreation room, an indoor dry snow area and other formats. At the same time, a co-creation space for youth ski clubs will be built here, and technical sharing and exchange activities will be held from time to time to provide systematic and complete supporting support for youth ski competitions and training.
In addition to the operation of the ice and snow season, Xue Ruyi Ski Resort also expects to achieve results in the operation of the four seasons.
