Recently, some netizens reflected on the message board of local leaders on the People's Daily Online that the Renmin Road 1979 project has the risk of being unfinished again, and the Kunming Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Xishan District Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau replied that the project was suspended in stages due to the company's financial problems in the early stage, and now the project has resumed work, and the development company is expected to complete the delivery by the end of 2024.

Renmin Road 1979 project is located in Renmin West Road, the project is divided into two phases of development and construction, of which the first phase of the A1-1 plot has a total construction area of about 71,105.43 square meters, including two residential buildings with a total height of 34 floors, and the second phase of the A1-2 plot has a total construction area of about 55,790.66 square meters, including residential, commercial and public facilities.

In 2021, the project was first put on sale, and the delivery time stipulated in the contract was August 10, 2023, but due to developer problems in the early stage, the Renmin Road 1979 project was phased off.
In order to promote the resumption of work of the Renmin Road 1979 project, in 2022, the Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development raised the supervision level of the pre-sale funds of the "Strength Guandi Community (A1 Plot Phase I)" project to the first level of supervision, and successfully applied for the first regulatory funds for the resumption of construction of the project.
Last year, the Renmin Road 1979 project was also included in the list of "guaranteed delivery buildings" and applied for a bailout fund of 30 million yuan.
In an official reply in August last year, it was mentioned that the Renmin Road 1979 project still needs about 130 million yuan to be completed, and its delivery time will be delayed until June 30 this year.

Therefore, the delivery time of the Renmin Road 1979 project is scheduled to be extended to the end of the year, which is the second time that the project has been postponed.
According to the latest progress of the Renmin Road 1979 project released by Sunac Yungui's official WeChat account, the main body of the project 2# and 3# has been capped, and the installation of plastering, fireproof window frames and aluminum alloy window frames is underway.
