The three brigades of the heroes are eleven detachments

The 11th detachment of the three major teams is a heroic collective, and in the battlefield of aiding Vietnam to resist the United States, whether it is military training or construction and repair, it always runs at the forefront of the whole regiment. In the construction of the Zhaigao tunnel, they braved the high temperature of more than 40 degrees, worked bare-chested, and never complained of being tired. The commanders of the whole company are single-minded, and they have overfulfilled their tasks. In a rush repair, they filled in bomb craters and repaired bridges, and they were out of sight for two days and two nights, and after the emergency repairs were over, on the way back to the company, their comrades-in-arms snored while walking.

Company commander Yang Jing leads by example everywhere and takes the lead in everything. His advanced deeds were affirmed by the leaders of the division and regiment. He attended the Advanced Congress of the Guangzhou Military Region. He was also praised as a "political company commander" by the commanders and fighters

From 1967 to 1968, company commander Huang Kailan and instructor Liu Chuanru attended the Railway Soldiers' Congress and were received by Chairman Mao, Premier Zhou, and Chairman Zhu De.

Iron warrior Wu Yixian

Wu Yixian was born in Honghu, Hubei Province in 1943. He joined the army in 1965 as an ammunition driver in an anti-aircraft machine gun company. One afternoon in December 1965, on the antiaircraft artillery position in the stockyard of the Ketai Line in North Pacific Province, Vietnam, the flames of war were rising and smoke was billowing out. Suddenly, the pineapple bullet thrown by the enemy was thrown into the position, and exploded next to Wu Yixian, and he found that his arm was pierced by shrapnel, his neck and stomach were blown open, and his small intestine was also hanging outside his body...... After the fighting, he was sent back home for treatment of his wounds. In recent years, during a physical examination, it was found that there were still 33 steel balls on his body, like a necklace around his neck. These shrapnel pieces are all military merit medals of Wu Yixian, a first-class meritorious hero!

Ammunition hero Xiang Chengxiang

Xiang Chengxiang, the squad leader and a member of the Communist Party of the 15th detachment of the three major teams, wrote a magnificent poem with his life and blood.

One afternoon, the US imperialists dropped a large number of bombshells and timed bombs on the Hejin station in Vietnam, one of which landed in the center of the station's first and second strands, seriously threatening the lives of the Vietnamese people and affecting the troops' rush to repair the battle. The head of the brigade decided to give the task of removing the timing ammunition to the 15th detachment. The commanders and fighters were all gearing up and rushing to be the first to participate in the volleyball.

According to the company's arrangement, the platoon bombs were divided into groups of three people and took turns to participate, but Xiang Chengxiang participated in two consecutive shifts for the safety of his comrades, and when the third squad was about to change shifts, suddenly, this timing bomb exploded, taking the life of Comrade Xiang Chengxiang.

Huang Bohai, an instructor who sacrificed himself to save others

Before his death, Comrade Huang Bohai was an instructor of the High Aircraft Company of the Second Battalion of the Third Brigade of the First Detachment, and he died heroically in the course of fighting a flood in October 1967 to rescue his comrades-in-arms and state property. In recognition of Comrade Huang Bohai's heroic deeds, the party committee of the detachment posthumously recorded first-class merit and called on all commanders and fighters to learn from him.

On this day, instructor Huang Bohai had just returned to the army from a family visit, and before he had time to put down his luggage, he came directly to the construction site. He immediately organized the site fighters to fight the flood. Suddenly, Xiao Li, a soldier who was rescuing materials at the construction site, was swept away by the flood, and Huang Bohai hurriedly ran in the direction that Xiao Li swept away and sent him to the shore. Before the instructor could swim to the shore, a huge flood peak struck him and swept Comrade Huang Bohai away......
