In the late-maturing potato planting base of Renshan Village, Shandan Town, the rotary tiller shuttles back and forth in the field, the machinery roars, the high ridge mulching, the masses are in twos and threes, the division of labor is orderly, the ridge fertilization and sowing operations, and the high-quality seed potatoes settle down in the fertile soil.
Since 2024, under the guidance of actively integrating into the county's "one line and six circles" urban and rural revitalization plan, the party committee and town government of Shandan Town have visited and investigated each village, highlighted the location advantages, comprehensively analyzed and judged, and adjusted the industrial structure scientifically and reasonably according to local conditions in accordance with the development idea of "optimizing the structure, promoting improved varieties, and improving quality", and put forward the "1255" development idea to promote industrial development, agricultural efficiency, and farmers' income. The 500 acres of late-maturing potato planting base in Renshan Village is one of the five bases established in the development idea.
