2. The origin of learning calligraphy
I am a retired person, because I have loved Chinese culture since I was a child, in the year of knowing the destiny of heaven, I regained my hobby, read the four books and five classics, and learned calligraphy from scratch. It's a lot of fun every day!
I thought I had started late enough, and I thought it would have been nice if I had studied earlier.
Another reason why I learned calligraphy was when I saw the calligraphy of my history teacher in high school, and he also started practicing calligraphy after he retired.
Now, decades later, he has made great achievements in learning calligraphy in his old age, swimming in the sea of calligraphy with ease, and roaming freely.
Seeing his chic font, I admired it beyond words, which strengthened my determination to learn, in fact, whether I can persevere, I really can't say.
3. The power of example
When I learned that my old classmate had started learning calligraphy at the age of 80, I was surprised and admired.
Admiring her optimism and her spirit of living to learn, she put this concept into her behavior, and used knowledge to enrich her elderly life in her old age.
