This is a newly released tourbillon skeleton watch and the first time that the Speeder has been introduced in skeleton form of a tourbillon. In order to make this skeleton watch even more stunning, we put a lot of effort into designing the structure of the skeleton movement to give it a sense of fluidity.
It's just the right size, it's a 40mm diameter cushion-shaped case, and it can be worn with formal wear, sports or even swimming!
I feel that now wearing a watch and going out is no longer just to look at the time, but to convey my own mentality. For example, when I am middle-aged, I want to have a more youthful attitude, and I prefer bold models with contrasting colors, but I also want to maintain the level and texture of the watch, so I still hope that this watch is made in Switzerland and is a self-produced movement of the brand.
The titanium watch I wore this time has a slate-gray titanium bezel with a rose gold interlayer, and the case is made of blue PVD-coated micro-grained sandblasted steel, showing a youthful aura. In addition, the anti-magnetic and precise nature of the Baumatic movement gives this watch the confidence to speak with strength.
It is a watch that is very representative of Roger Dubuis, full of iconic elements. It houses a tourbillon and is set in a skeleton movement, while the bridge structure of the pentagram is visually striking. In addition to the breakthrough in movement craftsmanship, the decoration and quality of the movement are also put to the test, and like every Roger Dubuis watch, it bears the Poinçon de Genève.
I wore this watch today because I was talking to a collector about the Tortue collection the other day, and he was very interested in the history of the collection, so I wore a Tortue watch that was released about 20 years ago for him to enjoy.
Coincidentally, this year we also launched a number of new additions to the Tortue collection, which is a major return to the collection that was born in 1912 after a long absence. One of them, the Tortue with a monopusher chronograph, impressed me and was of interest to many collectors.
I didn't want to be too business-like when I came to the watch exhibition this time, so everything from clothing to watches was relatively relaxed but relatively tough and stylish. And this watch follows the resolute style of a military watch, which I have always liked, and it also matches the style I wear today.
I really like some of the design of this watch, such as the red 12-point Roman numerals, which are exaggerated, the peach-heart-shaped hands, which are rare in the entire watchmaking world, and the bronze case with a chunky silhouette that renders a strong tough-guy style.
This commemorative watch was launched in 2015 to commemorate the 260th anniversary of the Vacheron Constantin Maison. The rare cushion-shaped case is very retro elegant. Coincidentally, that year Vacheron Constantin launched one of the most complicated timepieces in history: the Ref. 57260 with 57 functions, so every time I wear this watch, I am reminded of this masterpiece of great complication.
This year, Vacheron Constantin pushes the boundaries with the launch of Les Cabinotiers, The Berkley, a record 57 functions and 63 complications in one. Now I wear this watch to witness the moment, and there is an interesting echo between them.
This year's new Freak S Nomad from Ulysse Nardard, the skeleton-engraved dial is made by me. However, this new product has not been completed in sufficient quantities, so I have not received it yet, so I can only wear the Freak watch from previous years to enjoy it first.
However, to make up for this, I have equipped this watch with my own hand-made machine-engraved cufflinks. Despite the small size of this cufflink, it has a lot of patterns that you can't see on a high-end watch, and it took me 5 hours to create each cufflink.
