At the spring press conference of the Formula Leopard brand held on April 16, the production version of the Formula Leopard 8 (parameter | inquiry) officially ushered in its debut, and the car will also be displayed at the Beijing Auto Show. It is reported that the car will be built on the BYD DMO super hybrid off-road platform, positioned as a large SUV, with a three-row seat layout inside, and will be equipped with a Yunnan-P chassis.
Looking at the new car, the Leopard 8 is still a tough design style, adopting the aesthetic design concept of the future starship, with three chrome decorations inside the large grille, the headlights on both sides are connected to the grille, and the center of the engine cover is significantly recessed to enhance the sense of power. The sides are also flat and powerful, and as a large SUV, the overall design is still very appropriate.
In terms of power, the new car adopts the DMO off-road platform, which continues to continue the four core configurations of off-road, balancing power, fuel consumption, safety and comfort. At present, the official has not released specific parameter information, and we will follow up further in the future.

As a hard-core large SUV with a 3-row seat layout, it will be a product that benchmarks the Land Cruiser in terms of product power, but this car is a million-level product in the parallel import market, and the Leopard 8 will obviously not grab the market of looking up to the U8, so whether it will enter the market at the price of Prado, it is worth looking forward to.
