Pre-fill is required for ticket purchase
After the pre-filling function is launched, passengers can pre-fill in the information of the passenger, train number, seat and other information on the day of ticket sales, and submit the order and complete the payment with one click when the ticket goes on sale, making it more convenient for passengers to purchase tickets.
Improve the success rate of waitlist ticket purchases
Open the ticket purchase interface of the Railway 12306 App, click on the word "Standby", and you can choose to add different seats and train numbers according to your needs.
Each passenger can submit a waitlist of 6 pending orders, and can choose any 3 travel dates during the pre-sale period, and can select a maximum of 60 combinations of "date + train" in total, and each train can choose multiple seats. A maximum of 9 passengers can be added per order.
At present, the cut-off time for standby orders is 20 minutes before departure, and passengers can choose to modify the cut-off time according to the actual situation. When the waitlist order is successfully cashed, the redemption fails, or the order is automatically refunded, the notification message will be pushed through the notification channel selected by the user (SMS, WeChat, or Alipay).
Temporary proof of identity
Open the railway 12306 App, find the "temporary identity certificate" in "My" and submit it according to the prompts, wait for the railway public security organ to review it, and the electronic license generated after passing can be used when traveling on the railway. Reminder: Each person can apply 6 times in a calendar month.
Passengers who have not successfully applied for the electronic temporary boarding identity certificate should go to the public security card window at the station to apply for a paper temporary boarding identity certificate.
Discounted tickets for children
Children over the age of 6 and under 14 who are travelling with an adult should purchase a child discount ticket, and a full-price ticket if they are at least 14 years old. Each adult passenger with a ticket can bring one child under the age of 6 who does not occupy a separate seat for free. The age of the child is calculated based on the date of travel.
