Recently, the pouring of the last floor of the Fenghuang South Road Station of Guanghua Intercity Railway has been completed, and the first station of Guanghua Intercity has completed the back cover of the main structure.

Fenghuang South Road Station is located in the west of the intersection of Fenghuang South Road and Yongli Road, Huadu District, Guangzhou, along the Fenghuang South Road in a north-south direction, north of Ma'anshan Park Station, reserved and planned subway transfer conditions. The station has a total length of 511 meters, a standard section width of 23 meters, and a foundation pit excavation depth of 20 meters.

The station is located in the karst development area, in order to avoid the impact of the karst cave on the construction, Guangzhou Metro, together with China Railway Construction South China Construction Guanghua Intercity General Contracting Department and China Railway 16th Bureau, optimized the construction plan, carried out a detailed survey of the crossing geology, and detected the karst cave in advance for pretreatment, so as to eliminate potential construction safety hazards. Due to the existence of the stratum junction zone in the geology of the station, it is easy to cause water and sand gushing, and the builders also organize precipitation tests before the excavation of the foundation pit, and use the electromagnetic method to detect the leakage water of the retaining structure, so as to minimize the risk of water and sand gushing during the excavation process.

In addition, in order to ensure the safety of construction, the builders optimized the design scheme, adopted measures such as grouting isolation and reinforcement of sleeve valve pipes, reinforced and protected the 110 thousand volt high-voltage line towers, and successfully completed the capping of the station through a series of construction organization measures such as increasing the investment of operators and mechanical equipment.

Up to now, 25% of the civil works of Guanghua Intercity (Guangzhou East - Huadu Tiangui) have been completed, and civil construction has been carried out at 7 stations; 5 of the 7 sections have been civilized, and the rest have been prepared in the early stage; a total of 5 shield machines are being excavated. Civil works were carried out at the airport depot.
