It is understood that AC Milan have expressed a strong interest in several players who have failed to secure a regular place in the main team at Real Madrid, and believe that they are a perfect fit for the team's building needs and tactical system. According to Spanish media, Real Madrid have set a corresponding transfer budget for the departure of three players next season, and these three players have not been given full opportunities to perform under Carlo Ancelotti.
First of all, Spanish midfielder Danny Ceballos has recently signed a contract extension with Real Madrid, but his playing time this season has been extremely limited, contributing only 227 minutes in 14 appearances, and he may be looking to leave the club as he is hungry for more consecutive opportunities. Ceballos, with his well-rounded technical skills and midfield playability, has previously been on AC Milan's radar, and this summer's transfer window could once again be a big target for the Rossoneri.
Secondly, left-back Fran Garcia should have had more opportunities to perform, but his playing time was limited by Mendy's strong performances.
