Chen Jintong, born in 1973, a native of Dehua County, Fujian, is a senior arts and crafts artist, a national first-class (senior) technician, a master of arts and crafts in Fujian Province, a winner of the May Day Labor Medal in Quanzhou City, a mentor for employment and entrepreneurship of veterans in Quanzhou City, and an advanced individual in the national service guarantee for veterans in 2021.
He studied under Qiu Shuangjiong, a master of Chinese ceramic art, the winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award for Chinese Arts and Crafts, and the representative inheritor of the Dehua porcelain firing skills of the national intangible cultural heritage project. While inheriting the traditional firing skills of Dehua white porcelain, it also persistently explores many innovative techniques, and has successively developed Chinese red glaze (Guanfu red), kiln crystalline glaze, and successfully developed "lard white" and "ivory white" porcelain clay formulas. And learn from modern ceramic art techniques, constantly improve the "lard white" porcelain seed process, and develop a new porcelain species "unglazed mutton fat white mercerized jade porcelain", won the gold medal of the 15th Beijing Invention and Innovation Competition.
Now it has 13 authorized patents, 235 original copyright exclusive registrations, 3 gold medals in invention exhibitions, and 4 silver medals in international invention exhibitions. His works have won 28 national gold medals and 17 silver medals by China Light Industry Federation, China Ceramic Industry Association, China Arts and Crafts Association (Society), etc., and his work "Liuliu Da Shun" won the "Gold Award" of China-ASEAN Arts and Crafts Masters; 13 works such as "Xiangrui Guanyin" have been collected by China Three Gorges Museum, Fujian Museum, Fujian Arts and Crafts Treasures Museum, etc.
