On April 10, vector control personnel set up a fly trap in the Cuixinyuan community, injected a special fly trap, and numbered the fly trap. Vector control personnel also put low-toxicity and high-efficiency mosquito killers and sprayed environmentally friendly insecticides in manholes, sewer ditches, garbage collection points, underground garages and other areas in many communities to reduce the breeding of mosquito larvae in public places.
In the Sheshan Mingyuan Community Neighborhood Committee, the staff carried out a convenient service activity for vector control, explained the vector prevention strategy to the residents on the spot, and distributed sticky mouse boards to the residents for free. "This activity has given me a better understanding of vector biological control, paying attention to environmental hygiene in life, removing stagnant water, cleaning homes, etc., which can effectively reduce the breeding of mosquitoes, flies, rodents and cockroaches. Up to now, vector biological control professionals in Sheshan Town have set up 1,146 rat houses and 713 fly traps in residential areas, farmers' markets, public green spaces and other places. Next, at least 4 times a month, regular inspections will be carried out on each rat house and fly trap, and damage measures will be added in a timely manner, and centralized sanitize will be implemented in areas with high density to remove and control the breeding environment of mosquitoes and flies.
