At 17 o'clock on April 8, the last car of concrete blocks was transported away, the site was cleaned up, and the Shensu, Zhejiang, Anhui reconstruction and expansion project invested and constructed by Zhejiang Communications Group successfully completed the first batch of centralized demolition of overpasses. In this centralized demolition of the overpass, more than 390 workers and more than 200 mechanical equipment were dispatched at the same time, which lasted 11 hours, and launched an intensive and corps-style demolition "big competition" on the five cross-line overpasses.
At 6 o'clock in the morning, with the cooperation of the high-speed traffic police, the traffic diversion was started on the section from Si'an Interchange to Zhejiang-Anhui Provincial Boundary of the Shensu-Zhejiang-Anhui Reconstruction and Expansion Project. After the demolition work was all ready, with a command order, all kinds of demolition machinery and equipment shuttled back and forth. Machine-made sand is laid under the flyover for falling buffer and protection of the high-speed road surface. In the roaring sound of machinery, the beams and columns were gradually broken and decomposed, and the demolition work was smoothly carried out.
"In order to ensure that the demolition work went smoothly, we carried out a 'carpet' survey of the cross-line flyover site in advance, and tailored the construction plan according to the bridge type of each flyover. The relevant person in charge of the Shensu, Zhejiang and Anhui reconstruction and expansion headquarters said that before the demolition of the flyover, the headquarters in the high-speed traffic police, local requisition and relocation headquarters, high-speed operation and other units with the support of the construction unit, in accordance with the principle of "timing, people, equipment" to organize the construction unit, the supervision unit to carry out the demolition plan on the table, for the construction day to be able to complete the demolition of the flyover safely with the fastest speed, the highest efficiency and the shortest time to make full preparations.
During the construction process, the Shensu, Zhejiang, Anhui Reconstruction and Expansion Headquarters organized a vanguard team of party members to guide the construction of 5 operation points at the side station, and provided a solid guarantee for the overpass demolition operation through careful deployment and strict control, effectively shortening the personnel cooperation time and mechanical stagnation time. Over the construction site, drones monitor the demolition site in real time to ensure safe operation. The fog cannon sprinkler and closed isolation facilities effectively reduce dust and noise pollution, and protect the equipment such as optical cables in the middle belt.
In addition, the Shensu, Zhejiang, and Anhui reconstruction and expansion project linked with the Changxing County Transportation Bureau, local traffic police, and villages and towns along the line to survey the detour routes during the demolition of the five overpasses one by one in advance, and organized young commandos to improve the traffic conditions of the bypass roads in a timely manner, supplement the signs and other traffic safety facilities, and provide guarantee for the convenience and safety of the people.
It is reported that the reconstruction and expansion project of Shensu-Zhejiang-Anhui Expressway starts from Changxing West Interchange and ends at the provincial border of Zhejiang and Anhui. The total length of the project is 28.87km, according to the two-way eight-lane expansion, the design speed is 120km/h, the project is estimated to be 4.394 billion yuan, and the approved construction period is 36 months. It is worth noting that the reconstruction and expansion project of Shensu-Zhejiang-Anhui Expressway is also the first expressway in Zhejiang Province to implement speed-up reconstruction and expansion, and it is expected that the project will be completed and opened to traffic in 2026. After the completion of the project, it will improve the layout of the provincial and inter-provincial highway network, effectively alleviate the inter-provincial traffic pressure of Zhejiang and Anhui, smooth the transportation corridor of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui, and provide transportation assistance for the construction of the common prosperity demonstration zone in Zhejiang Province, the construction of a strong transportation province and the integrated construction of the Yangtze River Delta.
