Octogenarian Wang Rushan was originally a physical education teacher at Jianxiang Primary School in Xuhui District, and was enthusiastic about public welfare after retirement. When he lived in Changqiao Sixth Village, he served as a safety volunteer for many years, and after moving into Luo Xiangyuan in 2016, he still couldn't stay idle and wanted to contribute to the community.
During a walk, Wang Rushan found that the fountain piled up by the rockery in the community had been in disrepair for many years and had dried up, and the bottom of the pond exposed dry and hard gravel, mixed with garbage, which affected the landscape of the community. Wang Rushan saw it in his eyes and was anxious in his heart, he suddenly had an idea, why not clean the small pond, fill the pond with water, and raise fish to beautify the landscape?
So, Wang Rushan flipped through the books on flowers, birds, fish, and insects overnight, and repeatedly pondered what kind of fish should be raised. Brocade lithium is suitable for outdoor farming, and means happiness, beauty, fortune, luck, and is very ornamental.
As a result, Wang Rushan, a "little white" in fish farming, bought more than 1,000 yuan of brocade lithium and put it into the pool, but due to lack of experience and knowledge of fish farming, all the "fish" were wiped out in two or three months. For this reason, Wang Rushan frowned.
Ask for advice and try your hand at it
On paper, I finally feel shallow, and I never know that this matter needs to be done. Wang Rushan walked out of the community and asked for advice from the old way of fish farming. The Flower and Bird Market, the Park Management Office, the Shanghai Zoo and other places have left his footprints. After studying, Lao Wang realized that in order to raise a pool of brocade lithium, none of the links such as water quality, density, oxygen, and feeding can be relaxed.
With the encouragement of his family and community residents, Wang Rushan tried his hand again. Sure enough, this time, due to the accuracy of every link, the koi finally became a frequent visitor to Luo Xiangyuan, for a month, two months, half a year, and one year...... Even two years later, hundreds of baby fish were born.

Residents who have lived in the area for several years are familiar and unfamiliar, and by watching koi fish, they can open up conversations.
