At 7 o'clock this morning, the 2024 Huangpu Marathon started!

At 7 o'clock in the morning of April 14th, with the sound of the starting gun, the first "roller skating + road running" integrated marathon in Asia started at the Bund Taurus Square, which also marked the official opening of the 4th Huangpu District Civic Games.

With the theme of "Running for Love", the event consisted of four events: the International Roller Skating Marathon Tour (Shanghai Station), the China Roller Skating Marathon Open (Shanghai Station), the Shanghai Enterprise Quarter Marathon, and the Huangpu Marathon Online Race, attracting nearly 5,000 athletes and roller skating and road running enthusiasts from 24 countries and regions around the world.

With the sound of the starting gun, the roller skaters set off first, followed by the road runners, and the competitors set off from the Bund, passing through People's Square, Huaihai Middle Road, the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the old town, Huangpu Riverside and other places, to experience the classic characteristics, cultural charm and beautiful environment of Huangpu in an all-round way.

The end point of the full marathon and half marathon is located at No. 68 Longhua East Road, and the finish point of the roller skating quarter horse and road run quarter is located at the World Expo Museum. From the start to the quarter-finish line, the two races share a track. After passing the four-marathon finish line, the roller skating full-marathon and half-marathon competitors competed in a large loop around the riverside area.
