A few weeks ago, a friend sent a private message to Misfortune and asked Misfortune to introduce DC's Birdbody Banshee.
The Harpies are a race of evil monsters in Greek mythology, with the face of a human woman, resembling the body of a bird. The Orniko race itself exists in the DC Universe, but there are also many supervillains with the title The Harpy.
The Banshee race first appeared in the 1971 comic book Green Lantern V2#82, and since its birth, the Banshee race has not appeared many times, and about half of their appearances are related to Wonder Woman, who is also derived from the Greek mythological system.
The first character in the DC Universe to bear the title of Harbour First appeared in the 1968 comic Stars and Stripes Story #140, where she was neither a superhero nor a villain, but a World War I French Air Force pilot Denise de Sevigny.
Denise's older brother was the French ace pilot "Executioner" André de Sevigny.
Andrei wore an executioner's mask and a noose around his neck to deter the enemy. He was the nemesis of the Luftwaffe pilot "enemy ace" Hans von Hammer, who ruled the skies on the Western Front.
Andrei shot down Hans's fighters, but saved them. In the process of getting along with Hans, Denise develops subtle feelings for Hans.
Later, in an air battle, Hans shot down Andrei's fighter. In order to avenge her brother, Denise also became an Air Force pilot and gave herself the title of Banshee.
In the 1070 comic book The Flash, #202中, a cult called the "Satanic Circle" kidnaps Iris, and the Flash fights the cult to save Iris. The leader of this cult is called Lucifer, and Lucifer's wife is called a Harbween.
This Lucifer and the Harbour Banshee are both one-off characters and have only appeared once.
#443中In the 1975 comic "Action Comics", Queen Bee formed an Anti-Justice League team composed of arch-nemesis of the heroes of the Justice League. She joins the Anti-Justice League in order to avenge her defeat by the Black Canary in the past.
This bird-body banshee only appears in this issue of the comics, and has never appeared before, so she has no intersection with the Black Canary in the comics. She has not been seen since.
However, in the 1971 comic Green Lantern V2 #82, two members of the Ornichi race are seen fighting Green Lantern. The Black Canary also appears in this issue of the comic.
It is not known if the Ornix in the Anti-Justice League is one of the two Ornibus races that clashed with the Green Lantern.
In the 1992 comic book Batman, #481中, Iris Azios appears as a Harbweon, the girlfriend and henchman of crime lord Maxi Zeus.
When Maxi Zeus was imprisoned in the Arkham Asylum, Iris found Maxi Zeus's gang and ordered his men as Maxi Zeus's messenger, but was easily defeated by his men, so he had to turn around and leave Maxi Zeus's gang.
Back home, Iris decides to no longer be a messenger of Maxi Zeus, but his avenger. Iris made herself a uniform and became a banshee.
The Banshee is also a one-off character, appearing only in Batman #481-482.
In 2011, DC launched the big event "Flashpoint" to reboot the universe, and after the reboot, the Ornich race still exists, occasionally appearing, and enemies of the heroes.
However, none of the characters mentioned above with the title of Harbour Banshee appear.
In the 2015 comic Black Canary V4 #5-6, DC created a new Ornihodo, who is the lead singer of the band "Bo M", which is a rival to Black Canary's band.
The band "Bo M" and the Black Canary go from competing to sing, and the Black Canary's guitarist, Tito, uses a trick to stop the two bands from clashing.
This Orniko has no name and is a one-off character.
