Recently, Feng Caiqin, a villager of Qianjia Village, Anting Town, and Huang Chengyi, a resident of Huangdu Community, donated two cultural relics with historical value to Jiading Museum. For this reason, the Jiading Museum issued them with a donation certificate to express their gratitude.
It is understood that what Feng Caiqin donated was a stone tablet of Qianqiu Bridge that was rebuilt in September of the 29th year of the Republic of China. Despite 84 years of erosion, the stele is still well preserved and the handwriting is clearly visible. The stone tablet records in detail the construction process, construction unit, person in charge and cost details of the bridge, which has high historical research value.

Another donor, Huang Chengyi, donated two historic "pillar foundations". These two exquisite stone carvings are suspected to have belonged to the Huangdu Shixianggong Temple in the seventh year of Tongzhi (1863) of the Qing Dynasty. According to Huang Chengyi, the two pillars were discovered by his father and uncle 20 years ago and have been treasured in the family. Although there were bids to buy them, he believed that the two stones had high historical and cultural value, so he chose to donate them to the Jiading Museum free of charge.

This donation not only enriches the collection of Jiading Museum, but also demonstrates the selfless dedication and deep feelings of the donors to the protection of cultural relics. Their good deeds will inspire more people to join the ranks of cultural relics protection and jointly protect China's historical and cultural heritage.
Chen Chun, deputy director of the cultural conservation department of the Jiading Museum, said that the museum will do its best to protect these precious cultural relics so that they can be cherished and passed on as they deserve. At the same time, these cultural relics will also become an important research and educational resource for the museum, helping more people to have a deeper understanding of history and culture, and further enhancing the public's awareness of cultural relics protection.
