Looking back on the spring of 2024, the film and television industry in the past two years can be described as haze and hope.
In 2022, we are still in the critical period of resumption of work and production, groping forward in a normalized and uncertain environment, and in 2023, there will be major adjustments in the environment, and all walks of life will begin to truly pass through the cold winter and maintain integrity in the aftershocks of great changes.
In the past two years, the quality of content in the film and television industry has also improved. In terms of dramas, high-quality reality dramas and small but beautiful pioneer dark horses are not uncommon, and popular models are frequently released in the circle; in terms of variety shows, attracting investment has become a big problem for a long time, and at the same time, refreshing growth points are also emerging; and the overall performance of the online movie market is sluggish, and we are looking forward to the next node to achieve word-of-mouth leap and break through the bottleneck of the box office. A new technological storm has also come, and AIGC is an unavoidable topic for the entire industry.
The changes have paid off, the winds are reshaping the environment, and in the process, there are still countless works that are full of the efforts of creators, brewing, born, and perpetuating, and they form the foundation on which the industry can move forward, rebirth, and even be trusted. There are also many practitioners in front of and behind the scenes, and it/they/they all need to be seen.
Go to the New Covenant together
In 2024, Guduo Media will once again accumulate strength to open a new Jinpeng Wings - Golden Guduo Online Film and Television Festival.
As the industry's first top-level industry event focusing on the field of online content, the Golden Guduo Online Film and Television Festival has been accompanied all the way since 2016 when the online film and television broke through the cocoon, and with the help of people from all walks of life, they have witnessed the content of online students, and have gone through several key nodes such as explosive growth, turning point improvement, and leapfrog development.
At this moment, the online film and television festival that has gone through six sessions has officially launched a new one. This year's ceremony is hosted by the China National Film and Television Art Development Promotion Association, and co-organized by the Network Station Audiovisual Exchange Service Committee and Guduo Media.
The purpose of the China National Film and Television Art Development Promotion Association is to unite film and television art workers of all ethnic groups, integrate high-quality film and television creation and production resources, and support and serve national culture and art. The "Jinpeng Wings" exhibition and seminar is a traditional brand project of the China National Film and Television Art Development Promotion Association, which has been held for many sessions since its inception in 2004. According to the needs of the development of the times, in the future, on the basis of the original content and form, the "Jinpeng Wings" activity will be combined with the Golden Guduo Online Film and Television Festival to expand and deepen the content of the event and enrich the form and scale of the event.
As a participant and witness of online film and television, the Golden Guduo Online Film and Television Festival will continue to rely on Guduo Media's professional data products to select and commend the outstanding works and the creators behind them who have been active on the screen in the past two years.
Pick up the torch together
Since 2016, the Golden Guduo Online Film and Television Festival has been successfully held for six consecutive years. In 2016, "Stars Bloom", 2017 "Flowers", 2018 "Flowers in Bloom", 2019 "Fire Reflecting Flowers", as well as 2020 "Bright Flowers" and 2022 "Flowers in Shape", which have experienced great changes in the industry, we have always experienced ups and downs with our industry peers, and also recorded glory, change and every moving moment of innovation.
We are not only concerned about the landmark events and major changes in the industry, but also the direction and objective trend of the content; we are not only concerned about the specific process of creation, but also about the feelings and persistence behind the works; we are not only concerned about the specific people, but also empathize with the opportunities and situations of the creators, and also use this as a mirror to judge the water level of the industry and the height it can reach.
At this moment, we announce the official launch of the Jinpeng Wings Golden Guduo Online Film and Television Festival. This year, we will still radiate the entire film and television industry in front of and behind the scenes, gather the backbone of it, and witness the past and future honors.
This year, we will still rely on Guduo data, and invite professional judges inside and outside the industry, including professional scholars, platforms, directors, screenwriters, producers, etc., to put forward their own selection suggestions and professional insights in dramas, online variety shows, online movies, prominent companies and individuals in different capacities, online variety shows, online movies, prominent companies and individuals, etc., record the changes and evolution of the film and television industry with honors, and review the wonderful 2022 and 2023.
