Under the guidance and support of the "two committees" of Daliang Wusha, the Wusha Community Elderly Service Center has set up a volunteer village protection team for the elderly to help the "Millions and Thousands Project" and build a beautiful new Wusha. Since its establishment in January 2024, 26 phases of village protection actions have been carried out, and as many as 244 party members, elders, and youth volunteers have participated in the village protection action, with more than 400 hours of volunteer service. The village protection team mainly assists the community to inspect and discover sanitation treatment points, investigate potential safety hazards, and report to the community for rapid processing.

At present, the Wusha Community Elderly Service Center has set every Wednesday as a regular village care day, and 10 health hazards have been found, and 7 have been quickly dealt with, which has been affirmed by community residents. Through volunteer training, a senior citizen village team has been cultivated. The village protection team has a positive social effect, and the volunteer service of the elderly has influenced and brought the surrounding residents and outsiders to participate.
