The Silent62 three-deck solar catamaran motor yacht, recently launched at the shipyard in Fano, Italy, is taller and longer than the best-selling Silent 60 it is based on. As its name suggests, the new catamaran has a third deck instead of the standard flybridge and an additional hull length of nearly 7 feet (2 meters). This is the first three-story Silent62 to be ready to go to sea, but that's not the only reason why the launch is significant.

In February, German media reported that Silent's parent company, ASAP Trading, went bankrupt. As a result, the shipyard entered the stage of restructuring and, despite the difficult circumstances, continued construction work. The 62-foot, three-deck model is Silent's first catamaran to be delivered this year.

Fabrizio Iarrera, CEO of Silent, said: "The launch of our first Silent 62 triple deck is a proud moment as we continue to innovate and expand the Silent range. "It is also a testament to the fact that the brand continues to operate as normal, focusing on delivering vessels to customers. ”

The unveiling of the Silent62 three-deck catamaran motor yacht is the proud result of Silent's continuous innovation and expansion of its range. The three-deck catamaran, designed and built by its in-house team, is sleek and performant, especially with its wave-piercing bow that is reverse. At the same time, it inherits the eco-friendly concept of the "Silent Fleet", which can cruise quietly on the high seas without emitting any gases, truly realizing green travel.

The new Silent 62 three-deck catamaran is equipped with the same new, ultra-efficient drivetrain as the two Silent 62 flybridge catamarans launched at the end of last year. This next-generation drivetrain features the latest liquid-cooled batteries with higher energy density, greater capacity, and faster charging thanks to optimized thermal management.

The catamaran is simultaneously equipped with two 340 kW electric engines, a 286 kWh lithium battery and 42 powerful solar panels, generating up to 17 kW. Coupled with a diesel generator range extender with a peak of 145 kilowatts, Silent says it can cruise at 6 to 8 knots and reach a top speed of 18 to 19 knots. It also has an unlimited range and can travel up to 100 miles per day using solar energy. As a result, this solar-powered catamaran has lower operating costs compared to conventional diesel-powered monohulls.

The all-important third deck, on the other hand, offers 646 square feet of space with a retractable flybridge area of 164 square feet. The deck can be configured as an open airbridge lounge, an enclosed airbridge lounge or an owner's suite, all with a "forward exit" on the main deck that allows guests to access the foredeck directly from the main cabin. This design undoubtedly increases the activity space on board, so that passengers can enjoy the fun of the sea on board. The first is an open airbridge lounge design with a bar, galley and 12-seat dining table. The catamaran also has stern and bow lounges and a hydraulic stern platform.

The interiors are equally impressive, with five spacious cabins, a lavish master suite and a 538-square-foot main salon that makes this catamaran a mobile palace at sea. Accommodating up to 12 guests, you'll find the right space for a family outing or a gathering of friends.

Silent said they plan to deliver the first 62 three-deck yacht to the owner within a few weeks. This catamaran is more than just a yacht, it is the perfect expression of Silent's philosophy of quality, innovation and environmental protection. Its emergence will undoubtedly bring new vitality and possibilities to the sea yacht market.
