At 9 o'clock in the morning of April 12th, the Chinese White Dan Qingyun - Zhang Zhiwen Dehua Porcelain Art Exhibition was grandly opened in the Ceramic Museum of Dehua County, Fujian Province. The exhibition jointly sponsored by the Dehua County Ceramics Office and the Dehua County Ceramics Museum, and jointly organized by the Dehua County Ceramic Art Master Alliance, the Dehua County Artists Association, Zhang Zhiwen Art Studio, and the Dehua Ruixue Ceramics Research Institute will last until June 3.

At the opening ceremony, Xu Wenfu, a deputy director-level cadre of Dehua County, congratulated Mr. Zhang Zhiwen on behalf of the Dehua County Party Committee and the county government. Xu Wenfu said that Dehua is blessed with unique ceramic resources and profound cultural heritage, giving birth to the world-famous "China White", she has the characteristics of white as clotted fat, warm and moist as jade, and has become a bright pearl of Chinese ceramic art, attracting many artists at home and abroad to come to reside and create, Mr. Zhang Zhiwen is one of them.
Mr. Zhang Zhiwen's works all show his infinite love for art, his pursuit of beauty and his exquisite and superb artistic attainments in painting. Xu Wenfu said that Mr. Zhang Zhiwen used Dehua white porcelain as paper, splashed ink and color, and completed a series of porcelain paintings such as peony Shih Tzu pot and Baimei beauty bottle. The exhibition is not only a perfect combination of porcelain and painting, but also injects new vitality into the development of Dehua ceramic art, and is an affectionate tribute and inheritance of traditional Chinese ceramic culture.
Mr. Zhang Zhiwen flexibly grasps the unique character of his works, and each work is presented in a unique form, which contains universal philosophical significance, which is similar to Wang Yangming's thought. Mr. Zhang Zhiwen said that in April last year, the Luoyang City Museum in Henan Province held a 40th anniversary of his personal art "prosperous China" theme exhibition; this year, in April, on the occasion of the 41st anniversary of his art, and during the peony flower meeting in his hometown, he held an exhibition of ceramic works with peonies in Dehua, which enjoys the reputation of "the world's porcelain capital", and was very happy.
Luoyang Peony Flower Society and Dehua porcelain firing skills are all on the list of national intangible cultural heritage. Mr. Zhang Zhiwen said that his personal creation on paper began in Luoyang, and the first time he created on ceramics was in May 2014 from Dehua white porcelain, exactly ten years ago. In the past ten years, he has often come to Dehua.
The unique delicate and transparent texture of Dehua white porcelain makes me particularly passionate in my creation. Mr. Zhang Zhiwen said that before the completion of the creation of "Baimei Beauty Bottle", he created the "Peony Shih Tzu Hundred Pot". The creation of the hundred pots was carried out on New Year's Eve, and after half of the creation of Dehua, the unfinished part was transported to Luoyang to continue the creation. Even during the Chinese New Year in his hometown, he is painting Dehua white porcelain, and I believe everyone can understand this love.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Zhang Zhiwen awarded the plaque to the Ruixue Ceramic Art Research Institute of Dehua County, and the "Zhang Zhiwen Ceramic Art Creation Base" officially settled in Dehua.
According to reports, the exhibition focused on the "Baimei Beauty Vase" created by Mr. Zhang Zhiwen, and also displayed nearly 200 pieces of his peony Shih Tzu pot and large freehand vase. The plum and peony depicted in the works are not only the charm of the ink brush, but also the ice posture of the jade bones, which are more gorgeous and gorgeous, and there are not only the ingenuity of inheriting the traditional literati painting, but also the creative works that break new ground, the composition lines are smooth and free, the style is spontaneous and natural, and the brush and ink are exquisite.
