On the afternoon of April 13, the Fengxian District Youth Sports, Art, Science and Technology Education Seminar and the "Flower of the Sea" visual identity system release ceremony were held in the "Flower of the Sea" Youth Activity Center.
The "Flower of the Sea" Youth Activity Center was born as a major livelihood project in Fengxian District under the background of building education as the core of regional soft power and competitiveness based on the new positioning of development and major historical opportunities. Since its opening, with the support of all walks of life, the "Flower of the Sea" Youth Activity Center has become a comprehensive activity center integrating education, culture, sports, and science and technology, giving full play to the function of extracurricular education and the value of the times, and providing a broad stage for the growth of young people.
Wang Hao, deputy director of the Municipal Education Commission, and Wang Chun, deputy head of Fengxian District, jointly unveiled the "Flower of the Sea" visual identity system. Wang Hao said in his speech that since the launch of the "Flower of the Sea" last year, it has fully demonstrated its strong radiation efficiency, and the Municipal Education Commission will continue to pay attention to the follow-up development of the "Flower of the Sea", provide it with more resources, give it more functions, and further enhance its influence and radiation. At the same time, Wang Hao also put forward four suggestions for the development of "Flower of the Sea": spread the connotation of the "Flower of the Sea" visual identity system through storytelling and make it deeply rooted in the hearts of the people; focus on the construction of characteristic courses and projects, effectively integrate the local folk characteristics, the new positioning and new requirements of the national municipal party committee and municipal government, and attract high-quality teams and teachers to join the co-construction; further clarify the content design, space function and operation and maintenance mechanism; and build it into a "five educations" that bring together young people in the whole district The cultural symbol shows the creativity of Fengxian children and creates the Fengxian brand.
In the discussion and exchange session, the participating leaders and experts pointed out that the youth activity center should play the role of a hub, a platform and a source of vitality, focusing on the cultivation of students' comprehensive quality, especially from sports, arts, science and technology to empower students' development. At the same time, Fengxian District should focus on promoting the transformation and development of the youth activity center, so that the youth activity center will become the research planning, guidance and promotion, teacher training and student development center of the district, and as a fulcrum to leverage the sports, art, and science and technology education of the district.
The directors of the youth activity centers of Xuhui District, Baoshan District and Jinshan District shared and exchanged views on the development of youth sports, art, science and technology education, affirmed the achievements of extracurricular education in Fengxian District in the integrated development, and hoped to strengthen the linkage of various districts, combine their own characteristics, learn from each other, and learn from each other's strengths. The new LOGO of "Flower of the Sea" has the meaning of "openness, vitality and future", and the mascot "Flower" and "Haier" have the beautiful quality of being lively and cheerful, good at thinking and sensitive, which is Fengxian's hope for the majority of young people to achieve colorful growth based on extracurricular education, and it is also a blessing for the all-round development and healthy growth of the majority of young people, and it is also a warm invitation to young people in the city, the country and even the world.
