Wu Chuandong is currently the deputy head of the anti-drug detachment of the Bayannur Public Security Bureau. He has participated in the detection of a number of cases of trafficking, transportation and manufacturing of drugs, successfully cut off a number of inter-provincial drug trafficking channels, and seized a total of 184 kilograms of various drugs.
Every year, he serves as a lecturer for on-site drug detection and training of the city's public security organs, a lecturer for the city's precursor chemicals, community drug rehabilitation and community rehabilitation training, and an intermediate instructor of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, sharing his anti-drug practical skills with everyone, and winning the first place in the 2023 Theoretical Teaching Competition for full-time and part-time instructors of the city's public security organs.
He has continuously strengthened his legal business learning, obtained the national legal professional qualification in April 2022, and is now serving as a hearing officer of the Bayannur Municipal Procuratorate, a public lawyer of the Bayannur Public Security Bureau, an intermediate instructor, and the vice principal of the legal system of Jinchuan School in Linhe District.
For eight consecutive years, he has gone to schools and enterprises at all levels and organized hundreds of anti-drug knowledge propaganda activities, published and broadcast hundreds of anti-drug propaganda articles on media platforms at all levels, and used network media to carry out online and offline anti-drug propaganda, with a total of more than 100,000 viewers. Since 2018, there has been zero increase in the number of registered drug users under the age of 18 in the city.
From talking about drugs at the beginning, to having a unique vision later, and then to standing alone, he has always devoted himself to anti-drug work with enthusiasm. He said that he will continue to stay true to his original intention of joining the police, keep in mind his duties and missions, be full of sincere feelings, and contribute to the anti-drug cause with full enthusiasm, positive attitude, and solid style.
