Under the joint efforts of urban and rural party organizations, recently, 36 newly installed street lamps on Tangchen Highway in the newly built village of Maogang Town were lit up, illuminating the villagers' night return road.
It is understood that the new street lamp section is the only way for villagers to enter the house, with a total length of 1 kilometer, with a 7.5-meter-high municipal LED street lamp installed every 30 meters as the standard, a total of 36 street lamps are installed, benefiting 5 village groups, and facilitating the travel of more than 110 villagers around.
Originally, the solar street lights in this section of the road were seriously aging, which brought a lot of inconvenience to the daily travel of the villagers and also had potential safety hazards. "In the face of the actual needs of the villagers for the installation of street lights, we decided to take the new street lamp project as a key task in this round of pairing assistance after on-site investigation and discussion with the party group of the District Construction Management Committee of the paired unit. Zhu Xianhao, the first secretary of Xinjian Village, introduced that the project renovated the original light pole for the second time and replaced it with an LED light source, which not only achieved the goal of lighting, but also realized the reuse of resources.
"The renovated street lights not only illuminate the village roads along the route, but also make it easier for the villagers to travel. Jiang Jijun, secretary and director of the general party branch of Xinjian Village, said.
