The 2024 National Security Education Day will soon be launched
Beijing, April 12 (Xinhua) -- This year marks the 10th anniversary of General Secretary Xi Jinping's overall national security concept, and April 15 is the ninth National Security Education Day. The Ministry of Justice and the National Office for Legal Popularization recently jointly issued a notice deciding to launch the 2024 National Security Education Day nationwide legal popularization campaign.
It is reported that the theme of this year's National Security Education Day is "10th Anniversary of the Overall National Security Concept and Innovation Leadership". According to the activity plan, in carrying out concentrated propaganda activities, all localities and departments should combine actual conditions and publicize national security laws and regulations to the broad masses through various forms. Widely carry out online publicity, using all kinds of popular legal websites, WeChat public accounts, microblogs, clients, and so forth, to set up a special column for learning the overall national security view. At the same time, the Ministry of Justice and the National Legal Popularization Office organized and held a contest on national security legal knowledge, attracting the majority of netizens to participate in answering questions, and creating a strong atmosphere for safeguarding national security in accordance with the law.
The notice proposes that all localities and departments should include the 2024 National Security Education Day legal popularization publicity activities as an important item on their agenda, and carefully organize and implement them. Comprehensively implement the responsibility system of "those who enforce the law are responsible for popularizing the law", strengthen overall planning and coordination, promote the normalization of national security rule of law publicity and education, and form a long-term and effective mechanism for national security rule of law publicity and education. Standardize the use of National Security Education Day logos, accurately publicize and interpret national security laws and regulations, and carry forward the positive energy of the rule of law.
