Great Bell Temple(24__104)

author:The wind is clear, and the ancient fasting is blown

Whether it is the Great Bell Temple or the Juesheng Temple, it is no longer a temple in the traditional sense. Now it is the Museum of Ancient Chinese Bells, which has more charm and connotation than ordinary temples.

It's not to see and don't know, but to see. I didn't expect that the Great Bell Temple also collected many bells from ancient and modern China and abroad. Before this, I didn't expect that the Chinese bell culture was so profound and rich. I spent the Spring Festival in Thailand, and I greatly appreciated the temple construction in Thailand, but after seeing the Big Bell Temple, I deeply felt that compared with Thai Buddhist culture and China, Thailand is a primary school student, and China is a university professor;

Zhong originated in China and has reached an unsurpassed height in China. Zhong has a history and culture behind him. In the old days, from the first day of the first month of the lunar calendar to the fifteenth day, Juesheng Temple should open the temple for half a month, at this time the incense and worship the Buddha are extremely prosperous, and the tourists gather.

Since ancient times, China has had the traditional folk custom of ringing bells in prosperous times, because the dignified image and inscription of the bell have a sense of permanence and history, symbolizing the eternity, peace and security of the country and the people, harmony and happiness. Nowadays, on major festivals such as New Year and Chinese New Year's Eve, the bell is generally struck 108 times, which means to remove the old and welcome the new, and ring the bell to pray for blessings. The reason why the bell strikes 108 times is also because Buddhism believes that people have 108 kinds of troubles, which means to get rid of these troubles in life.

Let's follow the photos to appreciate the culture and history of ancient clocks in China.
