In line with this, the English version of the book "The Six Chronicles of Su Garden" published by Gu Wu Xuan Publishing House, the "Six Chronicles of Su Garden" cultural and creative gift box containing the 4K restored version of the documentary DVD and the fragrance of the "Smell Suzhou" series of fragrances were also unveiled at the scene.

Suzhou is the "City of Gardens", and the gardens and the aesthetic connotations behind them are the significant cultural symbols of Suzhou on the world stage. On November 1, 2018, Suzhou was awarded the title of the world's first "World Heritage Model City" by the World Heritage Cities Organization. Prior to this, nine classical gardens, including the Humble Administrator's Garden, Huanxiu Villa, Lingering Garden, Master-of-Nets Garden, Canglang Pavilion, Lion Forest, Art Garden, Coupling Garden and Retreat Garden, have been inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

Completed in 1999, the documentary "Six Chronicles of the Su Garden" is a television art series that comprehensively and systematically reflects the Suzhou gardens and excavates the profound heritage of Wu culture from the perspective of humanities and arts.

At the end of 2022, the Information Office of the Suzhou Municipal People's Government entrusted Suzhou Radio and Television Station to implement the restoration project of "Six Chronicles of Su Yuan", so that it can better adapt to the communication needs of the new era while maintaining the artistic quality of the original film. The China Film Archive, which has international cutting-edge restoration technology, joined the project to restore and improve the picture quality of the film.

The 4K restoration of "The Six Chronicles of Suzhou Garden" made its public debut in Singapore, which is not only a "reappearance of yesterday" of Suzhou's garden treasures, but also a more face-to-face exhibition display that includes sight, hearing, and smell. With light and shadow as the medium, taking the train of the new era and new technology, the Soviet-style garden aesthetics are more "clear and recognizable" on the world stage.
