At the event site, Mr. Fan Xingxing, the inheritor of intangible cultural heritage paper-cutting, appeared in an elegant new Chinese costume with a unique temperament. Under her careful guidance, the children sat around the table, scissors in hand, and focused on cutting the red colored paper. In the face of the difficult dragon head paper-cutting, she said patiently: "Children, the eyes of the dragon head are the soul of the paper-cut works, and only by cutting it brightly can the dragon be given vitality." Under her demonstration and explanation, the children gradually understood the essence of paper-cutting, and their works became more and more refined.
Social workers and volunteers also played an integral role in the event, walking from child to child and instructing them on how to hold the scissors correctly and how to cut them out with precision. Whenever children encounter confusion or setbacks, they will give timely encouragement and help, so that children can continue to try and improve in a pleasant atmosphere.
After hours of meticulous creation, the children finally completed their own paper-cut work. When they excitedly presented their results, their faces were filled with pride and joy. They said that this activity not only allowed them to appreciate the charm of traditional culture, but also exercised their hands-on ability and patience.
This intangible cultural heritage paper-cutting art inheritance activity not only provides a valuable opportunity for children to learn and experience traditional culture, but also injects new vitality into the inheritance and development of intangible cultural heritage, so that traditional culture can take root in the hearts of children.
