Recently, the Tangshan Municipal People's Procuratorate has filed a public prosecution with the Tangshan Intermediate People's Court. During the examination and prosecution stage, the procuratorate informed the defendant Tang Shuangning of his procedural rights in accordance with the law, interrogated the defendant, and listened to the defender's opinions. In June 2007, Tang Shuangning left the China Banking Regulatory Commission and became the chairman and secretary of the Party Committee of China Everbright (Group) Corporation. In December 2014, China Everbright (Group) Corporation was restructured from a wholly state-owned enterprise to a joint-stock company, and was renamed China Everbright Group Co., Ltd., with Tang Shuangning continuing to serve as Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee. Tang Shuangning seriously violated the party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline and life discipline, constituted a serious violation of public office and was suspected of corruption and bribery, and did not restrain or stop after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which is serious in nature and has a bad impact, and should be seriously dealt with.
