Yijingyuan Hotel is a long-established hotel in Dianchi Resort
As reported by Yunnan Fang.com not long ago, after the transformation of Yijing Garden into Hotel Indigo and VOCO Hotel, InterContinental Group has four hotels in Dianchi Resort, and this is only part of the current high-end hotel cluster in Dianchi Resort.
At present, in addition to the high-end hotels in Dianchi Resort, which have already opened, the Intercontinental Hotel and Hualuxe Hotel that belong to the Intercontinental Group, there are also Haosheng Hotel in Dianchi Lake, Haiwei International Hotel, Weisheng Wanghu Hotel, Yunnan Haigeng Hotel, Kunming Lakeview Hotel, Dianchi Hot Spring Garden International Hotel, etc., if you add the renovated Indigo and VOCO, there are more than 10 high-end hotels in Dianchi Resort, becoming the most dense area of high-end hotels in Kunming.
In addition, there are a number of resorts that are still in business in Dianchi Resort, such as Kunming Sanatorium of Ordnance Industry, Nature Garden, Xinghua International Resort Hotel, etc., which are the earliest and most important high-end resorts in Dianchi Resort, but some of them are slightly old because they have been in business for many years, and the hardware facilities cannot catch up with the new hotels.
Among the emerging cluster of high-end resort hotels in the Dianchi Resort, there is another hotel that is not large and has not yet opened, but the attention is even more than that of international brands, and it is the Kunming project of Songtsam Boutique Hotel.

Founded in 2001 by Diqing-born Pek Ma Dorjee, the first Songtsam Boutique Hotel was located in the Songtsam Green Valley Mountain Residence next to the Songtsam Lam Monastery in Shangri-La, Pak Ma Dorjee's hometown. At first, Songtsam boutique hotels were basically located in the Shangri-La Ring Road area, from the first Green Valley Mountain Residence to the later Songtsam Meili Mountain Residence, Songtsam Shangri-La Linka, Songtsam Benzilan Mountain Residence, etc., all of which became the first camp of China's boutique hotels with unique design, careful site selection and high-quality service.
After the completion of the hotel layout on the Shangri-La Ring Road, Songtsam Group opened more boutique hotels along the Yunnan-Tibet and Sichuan-Tibet highways, until Lhasa, although there were more hotels, Songtsam never left the Tibetan area and the Greater Shangri-La area. Originally, Dianchi Resort should also have a luxury hotel of the same grade as the Intercontinental Hotel - Marriott Hotel. Marriott Hotel signed a contract with the Spring City Capital Project as early as 2017, but due to the unfinished Spring City Capital, Marriott Hotel has not been able to land.

Founded in 1992, Dianchi Lake Tourist Resort is one of the 12 national tourist resorts approved by the state at that time.
