As of April 9, the number of China-Europe (Central Asia) trains passing through Alashankou Port this year has reached 2,016, exceeding 2,000 trains 17 days earlier than last year.

  Since 2011, when the country's first China-Europe train left the country through the Alashankou railway port, the number of China-Europe trains has increased year by year for 13 years. The volume of goods passing through Alashankou port is increasing day by day, and customs clearance at the port is also more convenient.

  Huang Xue, business manager of Alashankou Hongan International Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd., said that this year, the company's agent of China-Europe (Central Asia) trains has reached 770, and the company's business volume has shown a good development trend of import and export growth.

  The normalization and development of China-Europe (Central Asia) trains has injected strong impetus into the development of foreign trade at Alashankou Port. The business scope of port freight forwarding enterprises is also becoming more and more extensive, from the clothing, shoes and hats of the previous agent, gradually expanding to today's large-scale equipment, commercial vehicles and other commodities.

  Wu Nanshi, the fourth-level organizer of the second section of Alashankou Customs Supervision, said that since the beginning of this year, the number of trains passing through Alashankou Port every day has remained above 20, with a maximum of 27 trains.

  Up to now, the number of China-Europe (Central Asia) trains passing through the Alashankou Railway Port has exceeded 37,000, ranking first in the country in terms of the cumulative number of trains, with 118 routes.
