On the morning of April 11th, at the Haiwozi Art Museum located in Haiwozi Ancient Town, Pengzhou City, sponsored by Pengzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism and Sports, Pengzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Pengzhou Tongji Town People's Government, Pengzhou Artists Association, Haiwozi Art Museum, Pengzhou Painting Institute, and Maojiang Impression B&B, the National Color - Pengpai Peony Chinese Painting Exhibition was officially launched.
This exhibition specially invited 22 artists to make their high-quality peony theme paintings with different styles and styles as the blockbuster exhibition of this event, presenting the unique cultural charm and connotation of Tianpeng peony, showing the style and charm of Tianpeng peony, cultivating cultural self-confidence, and bringing a feast of flowers on paper to the city of Pengzhou.
The graceful and luxurious peony has achieved the reputation of Pengzhou's "peony, in Zhongzhou, Luoyang is the first, and in Shu, Tianpeng is the first", and the peony painting of Pengzhou, the flower city of thousands of years, has already become a trend. These paintings are based on the theme of Pengzhou's city flower "peony", "or use ink color, such as five colors", which not only inherits the tradition but also innovates, "has the wonder of natural use, and does not have the labor of depiction". It aims to use peony as a carrier to explore the possibility of narrative and aesthetic occurrence with Peng School characteristics.
At the exhibition site, the artists explained the creative concept of their works, saying that "peony", as the city flower of Pengzhou, has a unique cultural connotation and symbolic significance, and hoped to show the beauty and charm of peony to the fullest through their own brushes, so that more people can feel the charm of peony flowers.
The opening ceremony specially invited Mr. Huo Yong, a famous singer from Pengzhou, to sing.
