In accordance with the provisions of Article 25, Paragraph 1 of the "Public Security Administration Punishment Law", the Linping District Public Security Bureau imposed a penalty of 8 days of administrative detention on him.
Case 2
In March 2024, the Internet Police Branch of the Hangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau found that Hebei netizen Li Moumou and Gansu netizen Zhang Moumou used social hot events to fabricate facts to gain attention in order to attract traffic for profit, and published false information about a well-known enterprise in Hangzhou on the short video platform, causing adverse effects. The Cyber Police Bureau quickly went to the two places together with the Xihu Branch to arrest the suspects. In accordance with the provisions of Article 25, Paragraph 1 of the "Public Security Administration Punishment Law", the Xihu District Public Security Bureau imposed a penalty of 7 days of administrative detention on both men.
Case 3
On March 9, 2024, the police issued a police intelligence report on the "robbery of a jewelry store in the MixC shopping mall". After the release of the police report, netizen Zhang Moumou maliciously fabricated a rumor that "the robbery suspect in Vientiane City is his relative, went to Myanmar to be deceived, and came back crazy", which was later spread on the Internet, seriously disrupting social order and causing adverse effects. In accordance with the provisions of Article 25, Paragraph 1 of the Public Security Administration Punishment Law, the Gongshu District Public Security Bureau imposed a penalty of 5 days of administrative detention on him.
Case 4
In March 2024, the Internet Police Branch of the Hangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau, together with the Lin'an District Public Security Bureau, successfully destroyed an online violent criminal gang that used overseas platforms to expose the privacy of domestic Internet celebrity anchors and other groups, and then carried out insults and defamation, harassment and extortion, and rumors and nuisance, involving 2,006 victims, including 127 online anchors in our city.
It was found that in order to earn traffic income, the gang used illegal means to obtain the personal privacy of online anchors, and used this as "material" to "attract fans" of more than 470,000 people on overseas platforms, and at the same time, through the wanton spread and spread of a huge group of "fans", seriously endangering the security of citizens' personal information and endangering the healthy development of the platform economy. A few days ago, the public security organs carried out a centralized collection of the case, and all 10 members of the criminal gang were arrested, and the case is still under further investigation.

In January 2024, the Gongshu Branch of the Hangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau investigated the "case of Wang Moumou and others suspected of illegal business operations". After investigation, in this case, Wang Moutao, Wang Mouna, Du Moufeng and others founded a professional "water army" company in a certain place in Anhui, hired 25 employees such as Wang, Zhu, and Wang Mouxin, and pulled business information from major domestic takeaway platforms in accordance with the division of tasks such as the front-end customer service department and the back-end marketing department, and provided them with services for brushing up on good reviews and deleting bad reviews, forming a large-scale industrial chain, causing major damage to the operation order of the takeaway platform and the ecological environment of e-commerce. Since April 2023, the company's sales have reached more than 400 yuan. At present, the case is under further investigation.
In recent years, in the context of the rapid development of Internet technology and industry, stimulated by the "traffic economy", the breadth of content, the speed of dissemination, the frequency of updates, the scope of influence, and the social harmfulness of online rumors have all increased significantly; Stubborn ecological diseases, often in pursuit of illegal gains, gangs commit crimes, wantonly trample on the bottom line of the law, and seriously damage the network ecology.
