The project site is located in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, and the owners are a young post-80s couple. After fully considering the characteristics of the building and the needs of the householders, designer Sun Jianya kept the façade and the three floors above ground unchanged, and made another mezzanine on the second basement floor, so that the space changed from the original five floors to six floors. The designer adheres to the consistent minimalist design concept, adopts the design method of removing complexity and simplifying, and pursues design techniques to add more practical functions to the space and give it a sense of life beauty full of design philosophy.
