Recently, the Jialiang People's Court of the Libo County People's Court used the noon court, together with the village committee and the Jialiang Town Police Station, to successfully and efficiently mediate a divorce dispute case, drawing a successful end to the marriage of the parties that has lasted for more than 30 years.
"Judge, I want a divorce! Please help me divorce this marriage anyway!" said the plaintiff Bai Mou excitedly to Lu Yu, the judge of the Jialiang People's Court, in a Buyi dialect.
The plaintiff Bai and the defendant Luo got married in 1992 after being introduced to each other, and had a son and a daughter after marriage.
After the case was accepted, after contacting the village cadres, the undertaking judge learned that the conflict between the plaintiff and the defendant had been going on for a long time, and after the plaintiff Bai returned home from work during the Spring Festival this year, Luo quietly took away his ID card and did not let Bai go out, and the village committee had coordinated many times without success.
Because the grievances between the two parties were deep, and the original defendants in this case were illiterate and could only communicate in Buyi, the judge invited the village cadres and the police officers of the Jialiang Town Police Station to participate in the mediation. During the mediation process, both parties were emotional, believing that they had put a lot of effort into this marriage, and the two parties were in dispute over family investment and dedication, and the defendant Luo's attitude was even a little tough and difficult to persuade.
In order to avoid the escalation of the conflict, the presiding judge patiently soothed the emotions of both parties and adopted a "back-to-back" approach to encourage the parties to open their hearts and eliminate their antagonistic and conflicting feelings. At the same time, focus on the focus of the contradictions between the two sides, move them with emotion, understand them with reason, explain them with law, and resolve grievances through the combination of reason and law. Subsequently, the village cadres and the police of the police station took turns to do the ideological work of both sides, guide both sides to look at the problem rationally, and reasonably express their demands.
After more than three hours of mediation, the deadlock was finally broken, and the two parties let go of the estrangement and contradictions in their hearts for many years, and in addition to agreeing to dissolve the marriage relationship, the two parties reached a mediation agreement on issues such as property division and debt bearing. So far, a tense marital dispute has been concluded in the blessing of "one parting and two wide, each is well".
The proper handling of divorce disputes is not only related to the personal lives of the parties, but also to the harmony and stability of the family and society. When handling such cases, the Jialiang People's Court adheres to the principle of "making adjustments when they can be reconciled, and making due diligence when they can be adjusted", patiently resolving "matter settlements" and resolving "heart knots", focusing on maintaining the stability and harmony of marriage and family, and striving to achieve "case conclusion, matter settlement, and harmony" in family dispute cases.
