The play is adapted from Teng Xiaolan's novel of the same name, set in the metropolis of the financial city, showing a fierce duel between the bank's newcomer Tao Wuji, the vice president of the branch Zhao Hui, and the head of the audit Miao Che around interests and original intentions. In this contest between love and law, Tao Wuji has gradually grown into the guardian of the new generation of financial industry order. The whole play combines the fate choices of two generations of financial people with the transformation and development of China's financial industry, shows the invisible financial battlefield in the context of a sound financial regulatory system, and creates the image of a group of financial practitioners in the new era who abide by professional ethics and adhere to ideals and beliefs.
