Recently, discussions related to school bullying have once again entered the public eye, and other school bullying cases such as the murder of junior high school students in Handan have attracted widespread attention from the society. In order to further enhance young people's concept of the rule of law and their awareness of self-protection, to truly prevent and reduce juvenile crime, guide students not to be victims of bullying and not to be perpetrators of bullying. On April 10, the cadres and police of the "Green Shoots-Wild Goose" unchecked team of the Daofu County People's Procuratorate walked into Chengguan Primary School in Daofu County to carry out legal publicity activities to prevent school bullying.
In the classroom, the prosecutor first explained what campus bullying is, including physical violence, verbal injury, psychological and emotional torture, cyberbullying and other forms, and at the same time, told everyone about the recent cases of school bullying circulating on the Internet, telling children to respect others, sympathize with the weak, learn to express their feelings, and stand up bravely to protect themselves when they are bullied. Secondly, the prosecutor also emphasized the responsibility of schools in the prevention of school bullying, calling on schools to strengthen legal education and mental health education for students, establish and improve the prevention and handling mechanism of campus bullying, and at the same time, remind parents to pay attention to their children's emotional needs, strengthen communication with children, and promptly detect and stop bullying. Finally, the prosecutor, as the parents of the sixth grade graduates, took the stage to speak, encouraging the sixth grade graduating students to stay away from impetuousness, calm down, maintain good study habits, and draw a perfect end to the beautiful primary school life with perseverance and diligence and confidence that they will obtain.
In its future work, the Daofu County People's Procuratorate will strengthen cooperation with the education department, and regularly carry out activities for vice-principals for rule of law to enter campuses, so as to create a positive legal environment for the healthy growth of minors.
