Use of substandard gas appliances
According to the "Code for Gas Engineering Projects" (GB 55009-2021), household users should use stoves dedicated to natural gas with flame-out protection devices, and should not use in-line water heaters, and should use qualified strong row and balanced water heaters. According to the national standard, when the household user pipeline or LPG cylinder regulator is connected with the gas appliance with a hose, a special gas appliance should be used to connect the hose. The service life of the hose should not be less than the scrap life of the gas appliance. Therefore, it is necessary to use a safer metal bellows to connect the cooktop.

Privately demolished and privately renovated gas facilities
If non-professionals are allowed to alter the natural gas pipeline, the safety and airtightness of the pipeline are not guaranteed, and there is a great risk, which is very likely to cause a fire and lead to an explosion. In Article 49 of the Regulations on the Administration of Urban Gas, the state lists "unauthorized installation, modification and dismantling of indoor gas facilities and gas metering devices" as a violation of laws and regulations.
