Recently, the State Council officially issued the "Action Plan for Promoting Large-scale Equipment Renewal and Consumer Goods Trade-in" (hereinafter referred to as the "Action Plan"), proposing that by 2027, the scale of equipment investment in industry, agriculture, construction, transportation, education, cultural tourism, medical and other fields will increase by more than 25% compared with 2023. Zheng Shajie, director of the National Development and Reform Commission, said that equipment renewal will be a huge market with a scale of more than 5 trillion yuan.

The "Action Plan" clarifies 20 key tasks in 5 aspects, including promoting the renewal and transformation of equipment in key industries and improving the level of education, cultural tourism and medical equipment. It is reported that the relevant departments will successively formulate and introduce specific policies or norms in many fields such as industrial equipment upgrading. In order to promote the implementation of the "Action Plan", relevant departments in Anhui, Guangdong, Hebei and other provinces have started the investigation of equipment renovation.

From 09:00 to 17:00 on April 16, 2024, the Chemical Instrument Network will launch a special session for colleges and universities in the 2024 Instrument Recommendation Conference, which will push good instruments to target users, help instrument users update and transform equipment, and instrument manufacturers will tap potential equipment renewal needs, seize the opportunity, and leverage the trillion yuan market.
