The warm sun is warm, a few green branches with the spring breeze from time to time caress the beige exterior wall, rows of sliding window glass reflect the blue sky and white clouds, extraordinarily transparent, children play and frolic in the small amusement park surrounded by flowers and plants, and the old residents drink tea and reminisce in the newly created micro landscape, which is particularly comfortable...... The once old workers' village is being rejuvenated this spring.
On April 10, in the 21 clean and tidy courtyards of the workers' village, a small dam meeting was being held. Courtyard residents and street and community staff sat together to negotiate and discuss some issues in the renovation, and strive to achieve a perfect conclusion of the courtyard renovation.
Building 21 of the Workers' Village was built in 1983, with 4 units and 56 residents, and is a staff dormitory built by the Sichuan Provincial Architectural Design Institute. According to Uncle Liao, who has lived in the courtyard for decades, in the 80s of the last century, those who could live in this dormitory generally had a long working life or a senior engineer level who were eligible to divide the room. At that time, the 21 buildings were divided into two types of units, two and three, with separate bathrooms and kitchens. However, as time passed, the problem gradually emerged, the underground pipe network was seriously blocked, the drainage was not smooth on rainy days, vehicles were parked indiscriminately, and various lines were intertwined and messy...... In this transformation, everyone actively cooperated and fully supported, from the canopy to the road, from the sewer to the gas pipeline, from the activity room, the parking shed to the guard room, it can be said that it is up and down inside and out. The original illegally built area has become a micro-landscape with flowers and green plants, the original bad road has become a flat road paved with marble and asphalt, and many greening, leisure tables and chairs have been added.
