On April 11, Nikon announced the launch of the laser ranging telescope COOLSHOT 20i GIII designed for golfers, which is a small and lightweight model in the Nikon COOLSHOT series.
While keeping the COOLSHOT 20i GII light and compact, the new model notifies the user with a brief vibration that the distance to the flagpole has been measured (LOCKED ON QUAKE function).
When measuring overlapping objects, a brief vibration is emitted and the distance to the nearest object is displayed at the same time. For example, on a golf course, even with trees as a background, the distance to the flagpole can be measured and notified by tactile confirmation.
The COOLSHOT 20i GIII features 2 measurement display modes: Golf Mode (Slope Adjustment Distance and Actual Distance) and Actual Distance Mode. Users can switch by simply pressing the mode button. Users can use the product to practice in golf mode or participate in official golf tournaments using actual distance mode.
Depending on the region in which it is sold, the COOLSHOT 20i GIII is available in 2 body colors. The white model is sold in Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East, and the gray model is sold in North America and Europe.
