When the children painted Nie Er's former residence, they should not only go to Nie Er's former residence to observe carefully, but more importantly, they should be familiar with Nie Er's story, and in the process of painting, they should take on the role of docents to tell the story of the young Nie Er's versatile, studious and diligent and filial piety to his mother for the tourists who came to visit.
It is understood that Yuxi Nie Er Primary School is the only school in the country named after "Nie Er", and the emerging campus of Yuxi Nie Er Primary School is only 284 meters away from Nie Er's former residence.
