April 7 is the 76th World Health Day, in order to further enhance the villagers' awareness of their own health, to achieve early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment, Guanbuqiao Town Health Center and Guanbuqiao Town Yaozui Village organized free health check-up activities.
On the morning of the same day, the medical examination doctors of the village "two committees" and the town health center arrived at their posts, and the physical examination work began in an orderly manner. Medical staff conducted free physical examinations for more than 100 elderly people over 65 years old and preferential care recipients in the jurisdiction, including 8 items such as blood pressure, electrocardiogram, B-ultrasound, early screening and comprehensive intervention of COPD, and carried out first-aid drills on the spot to popularize first-aid knowledge. In addition, the village cadres also carried out the annual review of the pension insurance for the villagers who were waiting for the physical examination.
At the physical examination site, the doctor patiently told the villagers the matters that need to be paid attention to in their daily lives, introduced the relevant health protection and health preservation knowledge in detail, put forward reasonable diet, exercise and other life guidance, and informed them of the importance of regular physical examination, so as to "prevent illness before it happens", "prevent change from existing diseases" and "prevent recurrence after prognosis".
It is reported that the Guanbuqiao Town Health Center will carry out free physical examinations in 14 villages (communities) in the town.
