On the morning of April 9, U.S. News (i.e., U.S. News and World Report) announced the 2024 Best Graduate Schools Ranking, which is divided into several categories for six different schools: business school, law school, medical school, nursing school, engineering school and education school.
The best medical schools, best engineering schools, and best clinical psychology programs are currently delaying the release of the rankings due to the need to review inquiries received from graduate schools.
U. S. News publishes this ranking to collect data on schools that offer master's and doctoral programs, complementing the rankings by providing up-to-date enrollment, employment, faculty, and other key quality indicators to help undergraduates make informed decisions.
U.S. News ranks graduate programs in two different ways.
U.S. News uses a combination of statistical data and expert evaluation data. The statistics collected include both inputs and outputs. Input indicators reflect the quality of students, teachers and other resources in the educational process. The output indicator reflects the success of an institution in the process of management education, which has led to graduates achieving the desired results, such as passing the bar exam or securing a well-paid job.

Due to the adjustment of ranking factors and weights, some institutions have undergone major changes:
▲Stanford University: Rising 5 places in the rankings, replacing the University of Chicago, ranking first in the United States
▲New York University: Rose three places in the rankings, surpassing Yale and UCB to No. 7
▲Washington University in St. Louis: Rose 1 place in the ranking to the top 30
▼University of Michigan, Ann Arbor: dropped 4 places in the rankings, falling out of the top 10 and ranking 12th

This year's ranking methodology for the best graduate education colleges in the United States has not been adjusted, so the TOP 100 ranking is basically similar to last year, and the best education colleges in the United States still belong to Columbia University:
