The patterns of individual Peppa Pig are dyed crimson, and the red ones are a little purple, and the quality is worrying, but the factory workers are accustomed to it, after all, the bed sheet is cheap, and few customers find fault with these details.
If it is only stacked and dyed non-standardized, in fact, it is not harmful to people's health, after all, the bed sheets must be cleaned before leaving the factory, and consumers will also clean and disinfect them after they buy them, which is harmless.
But the most intolerable thing for investigators is that this kind of fake bed sheet is produced with inferior toxic dyes, which often contain a lot of chemicals, and the bed sheet is something that is in long-term contact with the skin, and the harm to people can be imagined.
According to the data table released by professional testing institutions, the formaldehyde content of this kind of bed sheet far exceeds the national safety standard, which is a substandard product, and long-term use may lead to cancer risks.
There is more than one such store, and after several rounds of random inspections by the marketing department, it was found that there are many kinds of textiles that abuse prohibited dyes, among which a substance called "aromatic amine" is the most common.
Internationally, aromatic amines are usually classified as an organic compound, which contains one or more aromatic rings and one or more amino groups in its molecular structure, which were synthesized artificially as early as the last century.
At first, it was regarded as an important chemical raw material, especially in the fields of dyes, rubber and plastics, and due to the special structure of this compound, they always showed stable aromatic properties.
Later, with the continuous development of science and technology, people found that aromatic amines have a high risk of causing cancer, and the World Health Organization has published relevant articles to remind factories to use this compound with caution, otherwise it will harm human health.
It's a pity that the World Health Organization has no law enforcement power, they can only remind that the modern clothing manufacturing industry is developed, and the use of aromatic amines is becoming more and more extensive.
In the final analysis, it is all because the dyeing function of aromatic amines is too powerful, unlike conventional dyes, only a small amount of aromatic amines need to be added, which can change the chemical properties of the dye, so that it firmly adheres to the textile and will not fade for several years.
The most important thing is that the cost of aromatic amines is low, which is more cost-effective than those traditional dyes, and it can also give the goods a good reputation without fading.
As early as April 2022, in response to the report on the sampling inspection issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation, the State Administration for Market Regulation conducted random inspections on 12 kinds of casual clothing and bedding sold online, and a total of 2,062 batches were randomly inspected.
The results found that there were 313 batches without licenses, no factory name, factory address, counterfeit and other problems, and another 386 batches failed the sampling, overall, the failure rate reached 22.1%.
The results are jaw-dropping, considering that the cheap sheets and clothing on the market are aimed at children, whose immune systems are not as perfect as those of adults, and scientists have repeatedly confirmed that this substance may alter the body's DNA structure.
Due to the chaos of the market, this kind of high-profit counterfeit and shoddy products are always not clean, here are a few ways to identify, try to avoid selling "poisonous" sheets.
First of all, we must look at the tag and composition of the product, the things produced by the small workshop are unqualified, most of them do not have tags, and we should be careful when encountering this.
In addition, try not to be greedy for cheap when buying textile products, and buy big brands more assured, especially for children, you must not be sloppy.
