On the afternoon of April 8, the "Famous School +" community of Jixiang Road Primary School in Yanta District, Xi'an City successfully held the 4th "Chinese Classics Recitation, Writing and Speaking" Poetry Competition. Representatives of teachers and students from five schools gathered at the Yanxingmen Branch of Jixiang Road Primary School to witness a wonderful poetry feast.
The purpose of this competition is to enrich the accumulation of ancient poems of students, inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture. The competition officially started at 14:30 on the same day, and the contestants walked onto the stage with confident steps to meet the challenge. The competition is divided into four links: "Helping each other in the same boat", "Surfing the sand", "Competing for the stream" and "Competing for the Championship".
The judges adhered to the principle of fairness and impartiality and judged the performance of the contestants on the spot. Their timely comments and explanations benefited both the players and the audience. The atmosphere of the competition was warm, the contestants actively participated, and the audience was enthusiastic and felt the charm of poetry together.
After fierce competition, Jixiang Road Primary School and Jixiang Road Primary School Yanxingmen Branch finally won the first prize, and Shaanxi Iron and Steel School, 98 Primary and Secondary School and Liaoyuan Primary School won the second prize.
As an important part of traditional Chinese culture, poetry contains rich philosophy and wisdom. Through this competition, students not only have an in-depth understanding of the charm of poetry, but also get happiness and growth in the process of getting close to ancient poetry. It is hoped that they can continue to inherit Chinese classical poetry, continue to write a chapter of thousand-year-old civilization, and contribute to the promotion of excellent traditional Chinese culture.
